Who is responsible for your data
Serbia Residence Center, at the address and email published on the contact page, decides what happens to the personal data described here. Any question about this policy, or any request to see, correct or delete what we hold, goes to that email address.
What we collect, and only when you send it
There is no account to create and nothing to opt into. The only personal data you give this site is what you type into the consultation form:
- Your name.
- One contact route: an email address, a Telegram handle or a phone number, whichever you choose to give.
- Your citizenship, if you fill that field in. It is optional.
- Whatever you write in the free-text field about your situation.
Please do not send us documents through this form
The free-text field is there so we can understand your situation well enough to answer. It is not a document upload and you should not paste passport numbers, identification numbers or scans of anything into it.
When your case actually needs documents, we will tell you how to send them properly. Until then, a sentence describing your situation is genuinely enough.
Measuring which pages get read
This site uses attribu.tech to count pageviews and see which pages people arrive on. It is our own analytics product rather than a service we hand your data to.
What is collected, and where it goes:
- attribu.tech: the page address, where you came from, your browser language, time zone and screen size. It assigns a random visitor identifier so one visit can be told from two. It does not track you across other websites.
What that does not involve
Nothing you type into the consultation form is sent to any of these. Your enquiry and your browsing are never joined up. If you use a blocker, nothing breaks; the pages work identically either way.
What this site still does not do
Stated plainly, because most sites in this market do all of it:
- No advertising pixels, no remarketing, no data brokers, no social media trackers.
- Nothing you type into the consultation form is sent to analytics, and your enquiry is never linked to your browsing.
- No fonts loaded from Google. They are served from this domain.
- No profiles are built about you, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
The two tools keep their data on your device
The visa-free day counter stores the trips you enter in your own browser, using local storage. That data never leaves your computer and we cannot see it. Clearing it in the tool, or clearing your browser data, removes it permanently.
The residence ground finder keeps nothing at all. Your answers exist only while the page is open.
Server logs
Like every website, the server that delivers these pages records ordinary technical information: the IP address making the request, the page requested, the time, and the browser identifying itself. This happens for security and for diagnosing faults, and it is not linked to the form data.
Why we are allowed to hold it
You send an enquiry because you want an answer. Handling your data to prepare that answer is a step taken at your request before any engagement begins, which is the legal basis we rely on. Nothing here is processed for marketing.
Who else sees it
The company that hosts this site processes it in the technical sense, because the enquiry passes through their infrastructure to reach us.
Beyond that, nobody. Your enquiry is not sold, shared with partner firms, passed to lead-generation networks, or used to build a marketing list. If your case later needs a translator, a notary or a bank, we tell you first and you decide.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Where we do take on your case, the file is kept for as long as the professional and record-keeping obligations of a Serbian practice require, and then deleted.
What you can ask us to do
Under Serbian data protection law, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email us and we will do it. You do not need to give a reason and it costs nothing.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection. If you are in the EU, you can complain to your own national supervisory authority instead.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not have one.
